A SCARCE BOXED .177 WEBLEY & SCOTT PRE-WAR 'JUNIOR' AIR-PISTOL WITH WOOD GRIPS, serial no. J2047,
circa 1930, with blued 6 1/2in. barrel, fixed rear-sight, blued air-chamber marked 'THE WEBLEY JUNIOR .177' over 'PATENTED IN GREAT BRITAIN No. 219872' over 'AND ALL PRINCIPAL COUNTRIES' on the left side together with 'MADE IN ENGLAND', the right side marked 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD BIRMINGHAM & LONDON', two pin trigger unit, the frame fitted with scarce wood grips carved with vertical narrow grooves, in a good condition box with orange 'starburst' label and complete with a sample envelope of pellets
