* A 6.35mm (.25) LEVER-COCKING 'BUGELSPANNER' AIR-RIFLE INITIALLED 'ER-EM-CE', serial no. 2,
German, circa 1900, with blued tilting octagonal 19 1/2in. smooth-bore barrel opened via a side mounted exposed trigger to the right hand side of the fore-end, the top-flat marked 'ER-EM-CE', nickel-plated air-chamber, the trigger-housing stamped with a 'S' within a rounded corner triangle above a patent number, chequered walnut butt-stock with nickel-plated heel-plate, nickel-plated under-lever forming the trigger-guard bow, plain walnut fore-end, much original finish remaining with some surface corrosion spotting
