for 1930, 29 1/4in. nitro barrels (pitted, missing short rib), the rib engraved 'POUR POUDRES VIVES.', and 'ANC. ETABL PIEPER. HERSTAL. BELGIQUE.', the tubes gold-inlaid with the Bayard trademark and engraved 'DEMI-BLOC' at the breech-ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and full choke, stepped treble-grip action with sideclips, rebounding bar-action locks, border and partial acanthus scroll engraving, and engraved with the 'BAYARD' trademark, repairs to hammers, one a replacement, 13 1/2in. stock including buttplate, sling swivels;

for 1942, 27 3/4in. nitro barrels (loose, pitted), 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action, rebounding bar-action sidelocks, partial acanthus scroll engraving, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in. semi-pistolgrip stock, with cheekpiece, sling swivels, including steel buttplate (2)
