Baker patent barrel-cocking hammerless action, patent no. 761 of 1878, use no. 1270, Scott patent gas check system, patent no. 617 or 1882, use no. 258, Scott patent crystal cocking-indicators, patent no. 3223 of 1875, Needham & Hinton patent intercepting sears, patent no. 706 of 1879, carved fluted leaf fences, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, left ejector requires attention, border and acanthus scroll engraving, bright finish, 15in. figured stock, weight 6lb. 9oz., in its makers brass-cornered leather guncase
