circa 1910, 36 3/8in. nitro reproved barrels, file cut rib with banner engraved 'C.G. BONEHILL. MAKER. BIRMINGHAM.', 3 1/4in. chambers, bored approx. full choke in both, some external pitting, treble-grip action with carved percussion fences, rebounding sidelocks with modern replacement hammers (originals also present, possibly repaired), border and scroll engraving with naive scenes of wildfowl, brushed bright and reblued finish, 14 1/2in. figured semi-pistolgrip stock with steel buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release and horn finial, weight 13lb. 9oz., with a canvas slip
