dated 2001, 29 1/2in. nitro barrels with 9mm solid-matt top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, hold-open toplever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'S' detail and integral triggerplate release catch, action engraved with acanthus scrollwork interspersed with floral bouquets, and with scenes of mallard in flight over a marshland setting on the left, the right with a flushed pheasant over a pastoral vista, the underside with the vignette of a woodcock in flight through a copse, triggerguard with further acanthus and floral engraving, triggerplate signed 'D.
