A RARE PAIR OF 4-BORE FLINTLOCK SHIP'S MUSKETOONS SIGNED L. BARBAR, FOR RESTORATION, no visible serial numbers,
circa 1735, with heavy gauge brass octagonal to sixteen-sided to round 22in. banded cannon barrels, substantial moulded bands behind muzzles and at breeches, London proofs and 'L.B' maker's marks, solid plain iron top-tangs, brushed bright lock-plates signed 'L. BARBAR' (almost certainly modern-made replacements) with swan-necked cocks (other parts apparently absent bar one frizzen), walnut handrail full-stocks (one cracked at hand and repaired, some treated worm to fore-end), brass furniture including heel-plates with long shaped comb-spurs and pierced and engraved serpentine sideplates, squared iron swivels and brass-faced wood ramrods
