30in. nitro barrels, tubes engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98, NEW BOND STREET, LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, border engraving, the lockplates signed 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND', the underside with 'HOLLAND'S EJECTOR' and 'PATENT SINGLE TRIGGER', retaining very slight traces of original finish, 14 3/4in. figured stock (cast on) including buttplate, weight 6lb. 10oz., in a canvas and leather case (damaged) with some accessories
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was completed as a single-trigger with 30in. barrels in December 1910 for a Mr. Daw.
