30in. Superior proof nitro chopperlump barrels with solid tapered matt top game rib, side ribs, the over barrel engraved 'J. PURDEY & SONS. LONDON. ENGLAND.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, hold-open toplever, rounded bar action with short stepped side-bolsters, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, rolled-edge triggerguard, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, retaining virtually full original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with engraved and colour-hardened steel pistolgrip-cap, the fore-end iron engraved 'PURDEY' at the knuckle and with minor grain separation to wood, weight 7lb. 8oz., in its lightweight leather case with accessories and maintenance record booklet
