circa 1920 and retailed by 'T. LAUGHER, LORRACH' with 29 3/8in. blued octagonal barrel with protected fore-sight, matted integral rail to the top flat and signed near breech 'J. HUBL, SALZBURG', plain slab-sided receiver signed by the retailer, large carved cocking lever mounted to the right hand side, adjustable tang-mounted peep-sight, scrolled underlever triggerguard with finger spur, double-set triggers, walnut butt-stock with raised moulded cheek-piece (cracked through, pinned and repaired at hand), Swiss-style iron heel-plate and smooth walnut schnabel fore-end, refinished throughout
