transitional between a type 1 and 2, circa 1934, with matching number 25 1/2in. push-button detachable barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, adjustable rear-sight, rear-mounted 'L' -type adjustable peep-sight, the air-chamber stamped 'WEBLEY SERVICE AIR RIFLE MKII' together with various patent dates, the trigger-housing stamped 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD, BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND' and fitted with a safety catch, walnut saw-gripped butt-stock chequered at the wrist, horn heel-plate, the whole retaining almost all its original blued finish
