circa 1978, 27 5/8in. (70cm) nitro monobloc barrels with sunken matt top-rib and no under rib, scroll engraving at the breech end, 9 punch marks, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, sprung sliding-breech with converging obturator discs, button barrel release, manual side safety, bouquet and scroll engraving with carved leaf fences, bright finish overall, 14 3/4in. stock including 3/4in. wooden extension, some grain splitting to rear of top tang, fore-part with horn finial, weight 6lb. 2oz.
