JAMES'S LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, toplever gold-inlaid '2', striker discs, automatic safety with brass 'SAFE' plaque, border and acanthus scroll engraving, the action bar engraved 'CHARLES LANCASTER LONDON', the lockplates with 'CHARLES LANCASTER PATENT' and the underside with 'PATENT BLOCK SAFETY', the serial number re-engraved (incorrectly) on triggerguard tang as 6352, 14 5/8in. figured stock, weight 6lb. 9oz., in a leather hammergun case with Grant and Lang trade label
