Belgian, possibly by Lefaucheux, with round superposed 4 1/4in. barrels, panels of engraving to throat of top-barrel only, under-barrel cylinder-pin ejector-rod combined, borderline and scroll engraved iron frame, hinged loading gate, unusual lifting hammer safe to the standing breech, engraved plain cylinder with internal and external chambers firing alternatively, saw-tooth external locking, relief-carved ebony grips (one cracked) and guarded trigger, whole lightly cleaned with some loss to detail
