circa 1880, serial number on short rib only, 30in. black powder only reproved damascus barrels (in 1985), rib re-engraved 'WILLIAM LIDDALL. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 3/4 choke, carved percussion fences, rebounding locks, border and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining traces of colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. figured stock including buttplate, weight 6lb. 10oz.
