circa 1830, with laminated and browned 30in. barrels, raised concave sighting rib with bead fore-sight, moulded and shallow fenced nipple-wells with twin gold lines to rib-end, platinum plugs, engraved and moulded top-tang, border, scroll and gamescene engraved bar-action locks signed in script 'CLABROUGH LINCOLN, PATENT' and with engraved white metal hook-plates to the bar and tail of each lock, walnut half-stock finely chequered at the wrist and with raised cheek-piece (small filled repair to toe), white metal shield-shaped escutcheon to wrist, engraved iron heel-plate with long triple-staged spur, square-backed and engraved trigger guard bow with shaped grip-safety bar to the lower tang also forming a raised grip, lozenge-headed barrel key with white metal oval escutcheons, engraved ramrod throat and rolled ends to the thimbles, brass mounted ebony ramrod
