circa 1810, with re-browned round 30in. barrel, the top near breech inlaid in gilt letters 'BECKWITH, LONDON', further platinum band to breech, borderline and scroll engraved top-tang, borderline and feathered scroll engraved lock converted from flint signed 'BECKWITH', walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, vacant oval escutcheon behind top-tang, plain borderline and trophy-engraved spur to the iron heel-plate, engraved trigger-guard bow with raised and scrolled tang, stylised pineapple finial, white-metal fore-end cap and full damascus under-rib with original brass-tipped ramrod
