completed between 1995 and 1998, 28in. nitro chopperlump barrels, ribs engraved 'FREDERICK BEESLEY (FORMERLY OF ST. JAMES'S ST. LONDON.) AMERSHAM' (some worn), with flashes of scrollwork and gold-inlaid '5', '6', '7', and '8' towards the breech ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke (No.5), 1/4 and 1/2 choke (No.6), imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke (No.7), imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke (No.8), Holland & Holland style self-opening systems, the fences carved in relief with oak leaf and acorn motifs set against a matt background, toplevers gold-inlaid '5' to '8', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, rolled-edge triggerguards, border and acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the sideplates with scrolling banners engraved 'F. BEESLEY. AMERSHAM. LONDON.' around a coronet, retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14in. figured stocks (all cast towards central vision), elongated beavertail fore-ends inset with gold roundels engraved '5' to '8', with Anson push-rod apertures, weight 6lb.1oz. (No.5), 6lb. 6oz. (No.6), 6lb. 6oz. (No.7), 6lb. 3oz. (No.8), in their makers brass-cornered leather quadruple guncase with some spare strikers and main springs, with a canvas and leather outer
