LONDON. WINNERS OF ALL THE 'FIELD' RIFLE TRIALS. 250 SEMI-SMOOTH BORE.', 2 1/2in. chamber, bored approx. imp. cyl. choke, action with teardrop fences, removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, non-selective ejector, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, the makers name in a scrolling banner, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in. figured pistolgrip stock with engraved steel pistolgrip-cap, cheekpiece, including steel buttplate, Hackett type snap-on splinter fore-end with horn finial, weight 4lb. 7oz., together with a homemade wooden box
