circa 1854, with 30in. damascus twist barrels, the top-rib signed 'BURNAND, NEWCASTLE ON TYNE' (lightly cleaned of finish), border and fully scroll engraved top-tang, border and scroll engraved bar action locks signed 'BURNAND' to both bars, en-suite dolphin headed hammers, chequered walnut half-stock, iron heel-plate with scroll engraved top-spur, cross-key barrel fastener and engraved iron furniture, original brass mounted mahogany ramrod, in a period mahogany case with facsimile trade-label
