LONDON.', barrel number 15070 (circa 1912), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, carved percussion fences with large strikers, slender toplever, rebounding sidelocks, elongated and slightly rounded action bar marked with 'W. & C. S. & S PATENT, NO. 642', fine acanthus scroll engraving with ornate bordering, brushed bright and reblued finish, 14 1/4in. figured stock, fore-end with diminutive grip-release catch, 5lb. 11oz.
