KING), tangent rearsight side-marked 3,4,5,6 and the adjustable tangent sight graduated from 7 - 18, receiver marked '1894 US SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 18712', the rear of the receiver mounted with a Pacific adjustable aperture rearsight, three-quarter length stock (not plugged at tip) with single barrel band, initialled inspection stamp dated 1896 and 'C', sling swivels, steel buttplate with cleaning rod trap
