A SCARCE .177 LINCOLN JEFFRIES BREAK-BARREL ''H' THE LINCOLN'' AIR-RIFLE, serial no. 17324, circa 1906, manufactured by Friedrich Langenhan in Germany and of the so-called 'push-button' millita style, with two-stage octagonal to round 19in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight and standing notch rear-sight, the top-flat marked 'H THE LINCOLN AIR RIFLE' in separate stamps, plain air-chamber with push-button barrel release catch, straight hand walnut butt-stock (repairs at wrist), iron furniture and cocking link forming the fore-end, external surfaces darkly stained
