circa 1795, with iron 11in. barrel strongly flaring at the carved muzzle and overlaid on the tang, first half of barrel and muzzle with white-metal pierced scrollwork, brushed bright bevel-edged lock engraved with borders and scrolls and signed 'MANUERE' below the pan, swan-necked cock and bridled frizzen, carved dark walnut full-stock (cracks and repairs to fore-end), stippled panels to wrist, fore-end and sides of butt, relief floral carving throughout and iron furniture also decorated with applied white metal en-suite with barrel, a nickel-silver swivel to side-plate, no provision for ramrod
