A 12-BORE 'MOD 303-E' SINGLE-TRIGGER OVER AND UNDER HAND-DETACHABLE SIDELOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 37798,
for December 1953, 28in. nitro reproved barrels (in 2024) with 8mm ventilated matt top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, three-piece fore-end, bolstered action with hold-open toplever, manual safety, hand-detachable lockplates with flush-fitting release lever, cocking-indicators, single-trigger with barrel-selector switch marked 'O' and 'U', the action, lockplates and furniture fully engraved with bold stylised acanthus scrollwork on a matt background, bright and blued finish, 14 3/4in. stock including buttplate, sling swivels, weight 7lb. 6oz.
