for 1863 and converted from percussion, 31 1/2in. nitro reproved bold twist barrels, the rib re-engraved 'J. PURDEY, 314 OXFORD STREET, LONDON.', 2 3/4in. lined chambers, bored true cyl. in both, slender serpentine fences of pinfire form, non-rebounding back-action locks, 'long guard' rotary-underlever with integral grip safety, border and bold acanthus scroll engraving, 14 3/8in. refinished figured stock including buttplate and with well executed comb insert, weight 6lb. 14oz.
