8in. octagonal to hexadecagonal to round iron barrels, moulded girdle at the intersection, the top-flats signed in script 'MANCHESTER', knock-off breeches with engraved band and scroll-work, engraved top-tang, bevel edged lock signed 'CONWAY' in script below the rainproof pans and with stepped and engraved tails, sliding safes behind the swan-necked cocks, rollers to the frizzen springs, walnut full-stocks with chequered bag-shaped butts, iron furniture and captive iron stirrup rammers, in a walnut case relined and recompartmented for these pistols, together with a period powder flask and rammer and other sundry accessories
