dated 1887, with 32 1/2in. sighted barrel, two barrel bands, nocksform with crown over 'VR', plus 'ENFIELD / 1887', long lever, prolific Ordnance and inspection marks, sling swivels present, stock with working repairs and varnished, butt with most markings sanded off, cleaned of finish with some staining, cleaning rod bent and frozen, 49 1/2in. overall
