* A RARE 80-BORE BALL-RESERVOIR PNEUMATIC AIR RIFLE SIGNED HARRISON, WITH FLINT LOCK AND ORIGINAL PUMP,
probably John Harrison, London circa 1775, with sighted two-stage 35 1/2in. rifled barrel with turned banded girdle, the rear-sight with aperture and notch, moulded and engraved tang with broad sighting groove, flat bevel-edged lock of flint form signed 'HARRISON' in script and engraved with borderlines, swan-necked cock with external thumb-wheel safe to the fore and stepped tail, frizzen spring with large roller, finely chequered walnut handrail half-stock with engraved nickel furniture, moulded under-rib with two iron thimbles and a possibly period iron ramrod, copper spherical air-reservoir mounted below the fore-end with brass mount and central ribbed grip-band, complete with its mahogany handled brass pump with broad iron foot-plate
