circa 1850, with rebrowned twist 34in. barrels, the broad flat top-rib marked within a panel of scrolls 'LONDON FINE TWIST' and inlaid with a naïve white-metal hunting scene of a hunter with dog in a woodland setting, white and yellow metal bands and scroll engraving to breech-end, engraved long top-tang, border, scroll and gamebird engraved back-action locks signed in script 'PERKINS' (traces of colour), walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, large shield-shaped escutcheon to underside, engraved iron furniture, raised spur to lower tang, twin barrel keys, engraved ramrod throat and ebony ramrod
