circa 1905, 25 1/4in. nitro reproved (in 2021) later nitro barrel engraved with a BSA logo at the nocks form, open sights with two folding leaf sights and tangent sights, ramped bead fore-sight, receiver and furniture with some border engraving, magazine cut-off, polished bolt serial numbered 3278 with provision for dust cover, unengraved modified later magazine with military stampings, butt socket marked 'LEE-SPEED PATENTS B.S.A. & M. CO. B.230', 14 1/8in. well-figured pistolgrip stock with horn pistolgrip-cap, sling eyes, border engraved steel buttplate (with trap), the fore-stock with horn finial, weight 7lb. 2oz.
