MORTIMER LONDON' in a banded oval on the left and 'GUN MAKER TO HIS MAJESTY' in a similar oval on the right, central cocks, semi rainproof pans, sliding safes to the top-tangs surrounding the cocks and also locking the pans when engaged, walnut slab-sided butts and concealed automatic triggers, together with a period two-tier walnut case adapted for these pistols and also including an embossed flask, scissors ball-mould, oil-bottle and an unattached facsimile trade-label
