circa 1800, with 39in. barrel struck with the King's proofs, borderline engraved lock bearing the 'TOWER' crown G.R. cypher, fitted with swan-neck cock, regulation brass mounted full walnut stock, with high comb and handrail wrist, the right butt stamped with an Ordnance storekeepers stamp dated 1800, the left butt carved 'LM 17 BT NO 320', probably a Nova Scotia Militia marking, complete with sling swivels, rod and old brown leather sling
