circa 1845, with rebrowned 30in. twist barrels, the top-rib with renewed signature 'CHARLES LANCASTER, 151 NEW BOND ST. LONDON', carved and moulded breech-blocks with platinum vents, shallow percussion fences with scroll engraved top-tang also featuring a standing pheasant, border and scroll engraved bar-action locks signed 'C. LANCASTER' above 'LONDON' (lightly cleaned of finish), chequered walnut half-stock, engraved iron furniture (some refreshing) featuring depictions of game birds and hunting dogs and complete with its original ebony ramrod
