circa 1916, with machine turned external barrel-jacket, the action signed 'MANUFACTURED BY THE BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO. LTD. ENGLAND FOR THE ARMES AUTOMATIQUES LEWIS BELGIUM' and fitted with a rotary 48-round drum magazine, detachable shoulder-stock with etched patent dates to heel-plate, bipod with barrel ring, the whole retaining much original finish and fully moving parts (barrel permanently attached), TOGETHER WITH its original transit chest containing various accessories including a further magazine, stuck-case remover, combination tool and a deactivation certificate dated 2004 (chest dated 1917, painted farsi marks to exterior)
