circa 1920, with 8in. clip-point blade, false edged for the last 3in., the ricasso stamped 'G.R.' with a crown device and 'J. RODGERS & SONS, No6 NORFOLK ST, SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND', the reverse with asterisk and Maltese cross proof marks, nickel-silver cross-guard with ball finials, full tang and stag-horn scales held with five rivets and nickel-silver escutcheon to left hand side, TOGETHER WITH its original embossed brown leather scabbard with nickel-silver throat and chape mounts and riveted leather belt loop to reverse, the whole in good order (blade amateurly sharpened)
