Co.' on one side together with a 'V.R.' and crown, model designation and date, walnut three-quarter stock with later varnished finish, iron mounts including front barrel-band with side bayonet bar, complete with original clearing rod, Commonwealth 'C.G.' broad arrow and 'sold out of service marks, good traces of original finish
