second model circa 1856, with blued 6 1/2in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to rear of top-strap, plain cylinder with rope-edge border to front and borderline engraving to rear, borderline and scroll engraving to frame (some pitting), spur-less hammer, 'Y' shaped spring safety, one-piece chequered walnut grip, scroll engraved iron butt-cap, removable type two iron rammer stamped 'TRANTERS PATENT' in an oval and similar stamp to side of trigger COMPLETE WITH its original retailers mahogany case, compartmented and lined in green baize, trade label inside lid for 'WILLIAM MOORE & GREY' and complete with a number of period accessories including brass scissors bullet mould numbered '1414', embossed Eley percussion cap tin, nipple key, suede ball-pouch, mahogany cleaning rod and a later copper flask
