for 1858-59, with rebrowned 30 1/4in. twist barrels, bead fore-sight, dove-tailed rear-sight with one standing and four folding blades, platinum and engraved lines to breech, scroll engraved rib-end, engraved platinum plugs, borderline and scroll engraved bar-action locks signed 'LANCASTER, LONDON' in separate banners, sliding safes forwards of the engraved hammers, chequered walnut half-stock with inlet iron patch-box to rear of right hand side of butt, the lid engraved with a lion attacking a stag, the hinge engraved with scrolls, chequered iron heel-plate with scroll engraved top-spur, trigger-guard tang with pistol-grip spur, grip-safety and rutting stags engraved to the bow, pineapple finial and ramrod throat and original brass-mounted ebony ramrod TOGETHER WITH its original oak storage case re-lined and compartmented in green baize, original parchment trade-label re-attached to inner lid and containing a number of period accessories including the original numbered mould and a red morocco-leather covered powder-flask
