circa 1795, with round tapering 9in. barrel, banded breech with solid dove-tail squared tang, Tower proofs, plain flat lock signed 'TOWER' at the tail, replaced pan, unbridled frizzen (screws replaced), plain walnut full-stock with heavy brass furniture (some old cracks and small repairs), serpentine sideplate and replaced bone-tipped wood ram-rod, the exposed iron surfaces brushed bright
