LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, automatic safety with silver-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, bold acanthus scroll engraving with beaded bordering, the makers name in central cartouches, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/4in. figured stock, weight 6lb. 2oz., in its canvas and leather case
