A .360 (No.5) SINGLE-SHOT HAMMER 'ROOK-RIFLE', serial no. 112,
circa 1890, with octagonal 27 3/4in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'T. W. MURRAY & CO, CORK' together with the serial number '112', squared boxlock central hammer action with rounded cheeks and fixed iron fore-end, walnut straight-hand stock chequered at the wrist (old inlet repair to left hand side at wrist), iron heel-plate and scrolled push-forward under-lever opening in front of the trigger-guard bow (iron surfaces darkly stained, some pitting to furniture)
