for 1855, with 7 1/2in. octagonal barrel signed on the top-flat 'ADDRESS COL COLT LONDON', plain cylinder with scene removed, plain iron frame, plain iron grip-straps and trigger-guard, smooth walnut grips TOGETHER WITH a fine mahogany 'Colt' storage case, compartmented and lined in blue baize and containing a number of period accessories including an iron double-cavity mould, an 'L' shape nipple-key, a James Dixon bag-shaped flask and a tin for caps, the interior of lid bearing a 'Colt' trade-label'
