possibly converted from flint, with round damascus 7in. barrels, flat sighting plane signed 'LONDON', nickel bead fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, border and scroll engraved patent breeches and hooked top-tangs, flat, slightly curved borderline and scroll engraved locks signed 'RIVIERE' forwards of the hammers, walnut full-stocks with chequered bag-shaped butts, white-metal vacant oval escutcheons to the wrists, iron engraved trigger-guard bows (traces of colour), polished iron captive stirrup ramrods COMPLETE WITH their mahogany storage case compartmented and lined in green baize and containing a number of accessories including a loading mallet, nipple-key , cap-tin and a fine three-way pistol-flask by Dixon & Sons, the case lid interior with Riviere parchment trade-label
