NEW HAVEN CONN USA, PATENTED AUGUST 21, 1894', the breech end of barrel marked with the calibre on left hand flat, plain colour-hardened receiver (finish faded), standard style walnut crescent butt-stock, standard fore-end with button nose-cap and half-length magazine
