circa 1860, with single-edged 11in. clip-point blade, thickened spine engraved with stylised vines along the back, engraved silver-alloy hilt carved with shells at the forte, classic marine ivory delta-form hilt scales, each held with six iron pins and carved with a central ridge, missing pommel-cap, blade with some staining COMPLETE WITH its leather bound wood scabbard with a grey alloy mouth and grotesque sea-monster finial
