A SCARCE BOXED .177 SPRING-PISTON AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'MKI JUNIOR "TIN-GRIP", serial no. J24515,
circa 1935, with blued 6 1/2in. sighted barrel, rear-sight notch behind barrel release catch, blued air-chamber stamped with makers name and address on the right hand side and 'THE WEBLEY "JUNIOR" .177' over 'PATENTED IN GREAT BRITAIN NO. 219372 AND ALL PRINCIPAL COUNTRIES' on the left, iron frame and ribbed tin-plate grips, the whole retaining a good amount of original finish COMPLETE WITH its manufacturers card box with orange 'starburst' label to the lid (stained) and yellow instruction label inside the lid, the tray with triangular compartment for pellets and darts (two corners of box lid worn through, general scuffs and abrasions)
