circa 1815, with two-stage 3 1/4in. integral barrels with flared banded muzzles, plain borderline engraved brass boxlock actions signed 'WHEELER & SON' on the left and 'LONDON' on the right hand side, central hammers with sliding safes to the top-tangs, slab-sided walnut butts and iron engraved trigger-guard bows, Birmingham proofs
