A PAIR OF 30-BORE FLINTLOCK OVERCOAT PISTOLS, no visible serial number,
circa 1800, with octagonal 5in. barrels (mild external pitting), the top-flats signed 'W. Parker HOLBORN LONDON', bead fore-sights, plain solid top-tangs, flat, slightly curved bevel-edged locks signed 'W. PARKER', sliding safes behind the hammers, walnut full-stocks, bag-shaped butts with slab side-panels, brass trigger-guard bows, sideplates and ramrod finials and original wood ramrods (cracks and small losses to edge of fore-end and butt with old repair on one pistol) COMPLETE WITH a later leather pistol case refitted for these guns (distressed)
