circa 1868, with 8in. octagonal blued sighted barrel signed 'E REMINGTON AND SONS. ILION NEW YORK USA' together with patent date of September 14th 1858 and 'NEW-MODEL', blued cylinder and frame, brass trigger-guard, wood grips with clear martial stamp, (losses of finish to the grip-straps and high spot of frame, the remainder excellent).
